As the Final Day of RDPT Main Event Begins, Japanese Player Nana Nakamura Becomes the Hot Favorite to Win the Title.
Zhang Mai from China, with his steady performance, enters the heads-up showdown with nearly the same chip stacks as Nana Nakamura. Contrary to our expectations, the final battle did not last long. The pivotal hand occurred in a post-flop showdown between Nana and Zhang Mai. Nana's bluff was caught by Zhang Mai, tipping the scales in his favor. Ultimately, Zhang Mai, with just one year of poker experience, claimed the Red Dragon Championship Trophy and prestigious winner jacket, taking home with prize of KRW390 Million.
RDPT JEJU 2024 featured 34 tournaments, attracting 5,838 entries and generating a total prize pool of KRW 7.21 Billion. The Main Event alone saw 1,337 entries, setting a new record for the highest entries in a Main Event on Jeju Island this year. The prestigious Red Dragon Jeju tournament concludes here, but don’t forget to stay tuned for the Jeju Poker Festival in November. We look forward to seeing more players join us for another round of thrilling poker action.
